Is a 4×4 required for Kaindy Lake?
Yes, the last section to Kaindy Lake needs a 4×4. Our Almaty tour packages include a suitable vehicle and experienced driver.
When is the best time for Almaty day trips?
Spring (late Apr–Jun) and autumn (Sep–mid-Oct) offer mild weather and clear views.
Summer is hot in canyons; winter is great for Medeu/Shymbulak. Layers are recommended year-round.
